Highlights

  • The Plan Deductibles have been upgraded to include up to twelve Deductible categories instead of four. This allows certain users* to configure additional deductible categories in multiple specialty office environments.
  • Functionality has been added to allow to enter Patient Payments  with more than one year in the past.
  • New functionality for Payer Payments now allows better tracking of fee modifications.
  • Notes:
    • It is recommended to regularly clean or clear the browser cache. This will improve performance. It also helps to download any pending version files.

Improvements

Plan Deductibles

  • More options for plan deductibles have been added to the Application Settings. Previously, the system limited the deductible categories to four, but it is now increased to twelve. This allows certain providers, for example, radiologists, to accommodate the number of deductible categories that payers have for imaging or other services.

Claims Tracking

  • A cutoff date of one year (12 months) has been added to the Work Queue in Claims Tracking. This allows the system to operate better without obsolete claims in the queue. This should not affect any claims that are active or still have the ability to be submitted. If you need to see all the data, click where it reads Click Here to load more.

Payer Payments

  • Added functionality to Mod Fees Reason list found in the Modify Service Line Charges popup. The new functionality allows you to see the history of fee modifications. The page now has columns for old and new service charges, and old and new patient charges. This allows better tracking of fee modifications.

Patient Payments

  • Payment Date field has been updated to allow older dates. Previously the date could not be more than one year in the past. Daily Closing and Closing history reports have been upgraded to add the Created Date and Payment Date information of Patient Payments for better tracking of events.

Reports

  • The Services Summary Report has been improved. A Service Charge column has been added so that this data is included in the report. Additionally, the Additional Summary option on the report generator now has the option to summarize by Provider, Facility and Procedure.  

Patient Management

  • A newly created patient profile will now automatically appear as the sole result in the Patient Management lookup after saving the patient profile details. After creating a patient, you will no longer have to query the lookup to find the profile you just created, saving you time.

Bug Fixes

Claims

  • The Claim Status logic has been improved for Claims with Paid Status when a new Clearinghouse status is received after the Payment was applied.

Appointment Books

  • Fixed an error where the Note text for SMS appointment confirmations was not correct. Previously the text stated @APPDATE and @APPDAY were the shortcuts for appointment details. The Correct text is @APPTDATE and @APPTDAY (note the additional “T”)
