Highlights

  • Payer Payments have been updated with several helpful features including a new column to help see details on payments processed manually and a new alert to help avoid check duplication.
  • Eligibility Request functionality has been added to the Patient Lookup to streamline the process of checking eligibility for patients and creating claims faster.
  • Note: It is recommended to regularly clean or clear the browser cache. This will improve performance. It also helps to download any pending version files.

Improvements

Payer Payment

  • An alert has been added when you try to add a Payer Payment with the same check number as one already in the system. This helps to prevent unwanted duplication when reconciling payments.

  • We have updated the dispute form for MCS Life and Advantage to help avoid errors or delays when disputing claims.
  • In the Payments list we have added a Matching Claim column. This allows greater visibility for claims that are converted from electronic to manual payment and may have been assigned different claim numbers before and after the conversion.

Application Settings

  • Customers who have SecureEMR Integration will now be able to select a setting to have appointments created in SecureClaim migrate to SecureEMR by default. This allows appointment information to be correct and up to date in both programs.

Print Queue

  • Naming conventions of the print jobs has been updated, so that you can more easily tell which claim or payment number(s) are included in which print jobs.

Claim Tracking

  • The Payer Claim Status popup now has added a field for the Claim Status Note. The new field provides the freeform note section of the 277 file received from the payer. This will allow you to get additional information about the claim status reason provided by the payer.

Bug Fixes

Patient Record

  • Fixed a server error that was occasionally occurring when patient claim history was exported to Excel.
  • Fixed a bug where patient reminder methods were sometimes being reset in the system when patient profiles were edited.

Eligibility

  • A minor bug was fixed that caused occasional duplication of patient profiles when creating a new patient.

Recalls

  • Fixed an issue where Recall List was not pulling the latest Insurance information from a patient’s profile and was instead retaining older insurance details.

Payer Payments

  • Fixed a bug where using Bill to Secondary was causing the Option window to open and close unexpectedly.
