Improvements

Appointment Prediction Integration (IA) – Scheduler

  • A new feature has been added to the Appointments module through the integration of artificial intelligence to predict patient attendance. This tool will be available both when creating and editing an appointment, and it will also be visible from the Scheduler by hovering over an already registered appointment. This feature is only available for existing patients with a history of appointments, as the AI relies on past patterns to make predictions.

  • The attendance probability will be displayed as a risk percentage (0%–100%), accompanied by a color scale that facilitates visual interpretation.

  • This functionality allows for anticipating potential absences and taking preventive measures, such as sending reminders, additional confirmations, or rescheduling appointments, thus improving the management and efficiency of the clinical calendar.
  • To enable prediction, at least the following fields must be completed: Date, Start/End Time, and MRN.

  • Additionally, users will be able to leave an optional reaction to the prediction and feedback, if they wish.

New Feature (Change Status) – Scheduler

  • A new option called Change Status has been added to the Scheduler module. This feature allows users to modify the status of appointments either individually or through multi-selection.

  • Authorized users can select multiple appointments simultaneously and update their status, for example, cancel all appointments for a given day. This functionality is especially useful in situations where the schedule needs to be reorganized quickly, such as in cases of unexpected absences, operational closures, or changes in staff availability. It streamlines the process and significantly reduces management time.

  • To enable this functionality, a new user role (permission) has been implemented in the Appointments Book module. This role must be assigned by the system administrator.

Report Update – Payment By Provider

  • The Payment By Provider report (Analytics > General > Collections > Payment By Provider) has been updated to include payments recorded in reconciliation, even if they are not finalized. Previously, the report only displayed finalized check payments. With this improvement, it is sufficient for the claim payment to be recorded in reconciliation for the data to appear in the report, providing a more complete and up-to-date view of payments.

Payment Method Update – Patient Payment

  • A new option called Other has been added to the list of payment methods, allowing users to record payment types not previously specified. When this option is selected, a validation is triggered for the Reference field to ensure the payment method used is properly documented.

New Report Type – Custom Report Viewer

  • A new report type labeled Claim Services has been added to the Custom Report module. This addition provides more options related to claim types and their respective details. When Claim Services is selected as the report type, predefined columns will be automatically marked for inclusion in the report. However, these columns can be edited, users may remove or add other available columns according to their needs.
