IMPROVEMENTS
Claim Center
- Dental Claim: Because sometimes longer notes are needed to submit predeterminations to the payers, we have added a new behavior to the Payer Notes field. A count of characters was added, so you know how many characters you have typed and how many are left, also, after typing the character 80 the font will turn red. This is to let you know that you have exceeded the maximum characters allowed to be send in an electronic claim or printed in the ADA 2012 billing form.
- Payment Notes Log is implemented in the Payer Payment Tracking grid and inside the ck as well. This will allow to add, keep track and print multiple notes to a payment/check.
- The claim patient Charges, Payments & Balance is now visible in the Service Details and Claim Info screen of the Payer Payments module.
- The visualization of more CPT/HCPCS codes, was added to the Medicare Part B-PR dispute form.
Back Office
- On Others tab in the Application Settings screen a new section was created, Integrations. You set the date that will begin to process the encounters received from the EMR customer’s (through the CH).
- It’s important to clarify that the HL7 encounters will uploaded to SecureClaim regardless of the date. The new functionality marks the encounters as non-processable and doesn’t process them, this means that they don’t upload to the EMR Encounters module of SecureClaim, but they can be seen in the Incoming Files with the status Non-Processable.
