Highlights

  • New fields to help you complete work more easily! Added new NDC Code fields for Institutional claim to comply with updated payer requirements.
  • Added Patient Charge fields in the patient record to see deductible status more easily.
  • Note: It is recommended to regularly clean or clear the browser cache. This will improve performance. It also helps to download any pending version files.

Improvements

Institutional Claims

  • Added fields for NDC codes for Institutional Claims in the Additional Info tab of the Service Line Details window. Some payers have required NDC codes for certain types of procedures. Adding these fields helps maintain payer compliance.

Payer Payments

  • Added the ability to include notes to the following Dispute forms:
    • First Medical Government Health Plan (Vital)
    • Internal Medical Card

Patient Record

  • Added a Patient Charge column in the History tab in the Claims option of the Patient record. This allows you to keep track of patient deductibles more easily without opening each Claim from the Patient record.

Claims Tracking – Biller Edition

  • To help you work more efficiently and speed up Claims Tracking load, we have limited the ability to load Claims to 10 days in advance by default. Biller Edition account users will still be able to search for Claims from the Cut-off date as configured.

Bug Fixes

Appointment Books

  • Fixed an issue where the Appointment book validations of “The Appointment Date & Start Time is during Non-Working Hours/Holiday List/Block Time. Do you want to continue?”appeared incorrectly.

Claims Tracking

  • Cut-Off dates no longer affect Provider users when logging in directly to the system. This improves Claims Tracking performance by eliminating loading time increase caused by showing all claims since the Cut-Off date.

Claims

  • Fixed an issue where unattended opened claims would cause an error upon the user’s return after a few minutes. Now, opened claims will follow the user session time out and not give any errors before the session ends.

Professional Claims

  • Fixed an issue that caused some modifier codes to not be recognized correctly when autocomplete was disabled.

Institutional Claims

  • Fixed an issue causing edited procedures not to save when combined with a revenue code.
  • Fixed an issue where duplicate institutional Claims would use the original Claim dates instead of the current dates in the Additional Info tab.

EMR Auto Conversion

  • Fixed an issue where the automatic conversion of encounters would cause an error. This now works normally.
