Highlights

  • Dental users will notice several new or improved features, including the addition of Combo Procedures, updated patient printouts, and better integration with SecureEMR for faster claims processing.
  • Claims Tracking has been improved with better customization options and new fields to help you more easily see patient payment details.
  • Note: It is recommended to regularly clean or clear the browser cache. This will improve performance. It also helps to download any pending version files.

Improvements

Integrations

  • For customers with SecureClaim and radiology software integrations, additional improvements have been made to the HL7 ORM creation process including the addition of new error and issue messages to help you troubleshoot issues such as duplication or issues with the save folder. Dental Claims

  • Updated integration with SecureEMR to allow Dental Predeterminations to be converted to claims in SecureClaim more seamlessly.

Dental Chart

  • Add Combo functionality has been added for Dental users. This facilitates combinations of procedures for dental work. The Add Combo button has been added to the Restorative Dental Chart and the Add Dental Claim form. Clicking on the button will open the ADA Combo Management window which allows you to create and add combos for dental work.
  • Pending Treatment plan has been updated to show the Priority values in the printed treatment plan. This allows you to show the priority assigned to future treatment to your patient when they receive a copy of the treatment plan.

Payer Payments

  • The Adjust button has now been updated as a split button. This allows you to select Provider adjustment manually for a Claim as before, or to select Loss and mark a claim as lost without manually adjusting the payment in each one. This allows large organizations to clear old/defunct claims more quickly.
  • Address for the Plan de Salud de Menonitas GHP (Vital) payer dispute form has been updated to the correct address for this form type. The form will use the Billing Office Mailing Address information, if available, as requested by payer form.

Reports

  • The Production by User Detailed Report has been updated with a timestamp showing the date (MM/DD/YYYY) and time (HH:MM:SS AM/PM) that a line in the report occurred.

EMR Encounter

  • The EMR Encounter has been updated to include a Received Date column. This new column will show by default, and encounters will automatically be sorted by the date in this field. This makes it easier to find newly added encounters at the top of the page.

Inventory Management

  • The visual appearance of the Inventory Progress page has been updated slightly to make the spacing and size of the status boxes more consistent. This provides a better visual experience for users.

Claims Tracking

  • Patient Charge, Payer Charge, and Payer Paid columns have been added to claims tracking. In addition to the Pt. Paid column already available, this allows you to easily see if the patient has additional payment obligations, they need to fulfill without the user needing to open the claim or calculate based on the Charges and Pt Paid fields.

Bug Fixes

Eligibility

  • Fixed an issue where the eligibility verification module would trigger the Provider is required Validation even if the provider was selected to some users.

Patient Record

  • Fixed an issue causing Patient Balances to be calculated incorrectly in some scenarios.

Daily closing

  • Updated the Payments Received section. The system was listing individual payments instead of a sum of each payment type in the report. If the Payment Date and the Creation Date are similar, they will be grouped together.

Claims Tracking

  • Fixed an issue that was causing issue with sizing and formatting of the columns in the Claims Tracking page. Adjusting this page to your preferences should now be easier and it should not revert to old settings.

Payer Payments

  • Fixed an issue causing Remark Codes to be duplicated in the View Remark Codes and Service Adj/Remarks windows.

Reports

  • Fixed an error some users were encountering when exporting the Patient Payment Report to Excel that was causing some columns to have incorrect names. This has now been fixed and column headers should be correct whether you export in Excel or as a PDF.

Application Settings/Plan Deductibles

  • Minor fix to adjust how the Category field sorts. Previously Category 10 was after Category 1 rather than after Category 9 due to the way the system was sorting numerals.
