Highlights

  • The option of being able to add templates to the Tasks module through Application Settings has been added. This will allow you to create Subject and Description templates to be used in Tasks.
  • Added in the Tasks module the option to select the templates created through Application Settings. You can choose templates by means of a list in the Subject field.
  • Added the Requires Attachment option that will make a requirement that documents be added to the Tasks to be completed.
  • Tasks report is added to the Analytics module. This will allow you to generate a report with all the information related to your tasks.
  • Alerts are added to the patient’s record when the patient has uncompleted pending Tasks. These alerts are added to the alert history located in the Office Information tab > Patient Notes Log.
  • Note: It is recommended to regularly clean or clear the browser cache. This will improve performance. It also helps to download any pending version files.

Implementation

  1. Application Settings
  2. Click the Settings button at the top of SecureClaim.
  • Click on the Others tab.
  • Expand the Task Templates option.
  • To add a template, enter in the Subject field the title you want in the Task.
  • In the Description field, enter the description you want in the Task.
  • When you are ready, click the Save button. After created, the template will be available to be selected in the Tasks.
  • To delete a created template, select the template and click the Delete button and then confirm the notification by clicking the Yes button.
  • Tasks
    • To select the templates created from the Tasks module, click on the Subject field icon.
    • Choose the desired template by selecting the Subject you want from the list.
    • Once chosen, both the Subject and the Description will be pre-populated as the template was configured.
    • You can edit the Subject and the Description if you wish.
    • When you are ready, click the Save button to save your changes.
  • If you want to require documents to be attached to the Task to be completed, select the Require Attachment option. This will cause the user to whom the Task is assigned to be required to add a document to complete it. Only the user who created the Task will be able to remove the Require Attachment option.
  • Reports
    • Added a new report called Tasks located in the Analytics > Reports > General module under the Special section.
  • This report will provide you with all the information related to the Tasks created in SecureClaim. With this report you can find the Tasks by applying filters such as Subject (title), Created By, Patient MRN, Status, among others.
  • The report will contain information such as:
    • Task number
    • Subject
    • Description
    • Created Date
    • Due On
    • Created By
    • Assigned To
    • Priority
    • Status
    • Requires Attachment
    • Aging
    • MRN/Patient Name
    • Date of Birth
    • Business Line
    • Policy number
  • Patient Record
    • The functionality of alerting the user when a Patient Record contains assigned Tasks that are not yet completed has been added.
    • This alert will provide you with the list of assigned Task numbers.
  • These alerts are added to the alert history located in the Office Information tab > Patient Notes Log.
  • This option can be enabled or disabled via the Application Settings module.
